Our climate commitment
Every AI note costs electricity. The language models behind MH Scribe run in data centers, and the bigger the model, the more energy each request takes. Since we sell a product built on those models, we think the energy is partly our problem.
The first thing we do about it is use smaller models where they are good enough. Drafting a full clinical note needs our most capable model. Many smaller tasks don't, and those go to a lighter, faster model. We also try not to run the AI when the result would only be thrown away.
The second is paying for carbon removal. A portion of every subscription goes to Stripe Climate, which funds early carbon removal projects such as direct air capture and enhanced mineral weathering. It does not cancel out our footprint. It is the part we can do now.
